Sama enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, with a particular interest in dental implants and cosmetic dentistry. She is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, natural-looking smiles and greater confidence.


She holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Implant Dentistry and a Master’s Degree in Dental Implantology, and is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI).


Sama has a special interest in implant placement, ridge augmentation and bone grafting procedures that help rebuild the bone needed to support dental implants. She takes a careful, personalised approach, focusing on restoring function while achieving natural-looking results.


As an Invisalign® provider, Sama also offers clear aligner treatment to improve tooth alignment. She is experienced in administering botulinum toxin treatments, with an emphasis on subtle, natural-looking outcomes.


Committed to providing the highest standard of care, Sama regularly attends advanced courses, national and international conferences, and hands-on masterclasses. She enjoys bringing the latest knowledge and techniques into her practice to provide thoughtful, personalised care for every patient.



ORAL & MAXILLOFACIAL SURGEON

Dr James Olsen BDS MD FRACDS(OMS)- Consultant Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon 

Dr Olsen is a dually qualified and college trained Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon, practising the full general scope of the specialty. Originally from Tauranga, Jamie completed his dental undergraduate degree at Otago university. Following three years working in both the public and private sectors as a dentist, he shifted to Melbourne to complete his medical degree at the university of Melbourne. He then completed three further years working in various surgical special specialties throughout multiple hospitals across Melbourne and Perth, prior to undertaking formal surgical training in Oral & Maxillofacial surgery back in New Zealand. 

At completion of training, Jamie and his wife Anna decided to settle in Auckland, where they now live with their two sons Oliver and Leonard. Jamie splits his time between both public and private practice, where his main interests lie in the management of craniomaxillofacial trauma, orthognathic and TMJ surgery, as well as dentoalveolar surgery, including the placement of dental implants. 

ORAL HEALTH THERAPISTS & HYGIENISTS

Anne, Helen and Mia are part of our highly skilled oral health team, taking great pride in their work. As Oral Health Therapists and hygienists, they play a vital role in helping you maintain excellent oral health and ensuring the longevity of your dental restorations. Regular visits with them can help prevent gum disease (periodontitis), gingivitis, tooth decay, and bad breath. Additionally, their expertise in professional cleaning and stain removal can enhance the brightness of your smile, leaving you with a fresh, healthy look.

Anne is a caring hygienist who works to get the best outcome for all her patients. She is passionate about dental hygiene and is continually upskilling herself. 

Helen is an Oral health Therapist who holds a Bachelor of Health Science in Oral Health Therapy degree from Auckland University of Technology.

She has over 25 years’ experience in the dental industry here in NZ & the UK as both a dental assistant & practice manager and is registered with the DCNZ and a member of the NZOHA. Helen is committed to lifelong learning in order to better understand the reciprocal relationship between our oral and systemic health and how each affects the other. She takes a compassionate and empathetic approach to treating patients of all ages, in particular those who suffer from dental anxiety and those dealing with oral health side effects from cancer treatment, and has the unique perspective of having undergone treatment herself. When not in clinic, Helen is currently learning to sew and enjoys reading, going for walks on the beach & in the bush, in addition to camping trips.


Mia is an Oral Health Therapist who holds a Bachelor of Health Science in Oral Health from Auckland University of Technology. She has been working in the dental industry in New Zealand for over six years and is a member of the New Zealand Oral Health Association (NZOHA). Mia has a strong clinical interest in periodontal care and patient education. She believes that prevention and early intervention are key to long-term oral health outcomes. With a background in Nutrition, she is particularly interested in how dietary choices influence oral and systemic health. Mia is known for her gentle approach, positive attitude, and clear communication style, helping patients feel comfortable and well-informed throughout their visit. She is fluent in both English and Mandarin, allowing her to communicate effectively with a diverse range of patients and help them feel fully understood and at ease. Outside of the clinic, Mia enjoys exploring good food and spending time at home with her cat.
