Wisdom Tooth Extraction

Wisdom teeth are the last teeth to develop and usually erupt into the mouth between the ages of 16 – 25. When there isn't enough space for these teeth to come through normally, they become impacted.

Impacted wisdom teeth may cause a number of problems including infection, decay of adjacent teeth and pain. The dentist will discuss with you the best way of treating your wisdom teeth, and will outline the type of procedure required. Click here for more

Emergency Dentistry

“Toothache” usually refers to pain around the teeth or jaws primarily as a result of a dental condition. In most instances toothaches are caused by tooth problems such as a dental cavity, a cracked tooth, an exposed nerve or gum disease.

Teeth Whitening

You can now smile with confidence with our teeth whitening options.
Tooth whitening lightens teeth and is a popular cosmetic option to improve the appearance of your teeth. There are many reasons for tooth discolouration. The most common are ageing and the consumption of staining substances (coffee, tea, red wine etc). Tooth discolouration can also occur when the tooth is forming by using certain antibiotics. At Belich Dental we have two whitening options. Talk to our dental professionals to determine if your teeth are suitable for whitening and which whitening option would be best suited for you.

Composite Bonding

Bonding is a process in which enamel like material is applied to the tooth surface, sculpted to the ideal shape then hardened and polished to achieve your new smile. Bonding - although only a very simple proceedure can make a major difference to your face and smile.

Tooth Coloured Fillings

Silver fillings can now be replaced with colour matched composite.
This solution helps restore pre-filled teeth to their original condition and improves tooth strength.

Gum Disease

Gingivitis also generally known as gum disease or periodontal disease and describes the events that begin with bacterial growth in our mouth and may end (if not properly treated) with tooth loss due to destruction of the tissue that surrounds the tooth.

Crowns & Inlays

New technology uses colour matched inlays to restore and re-build heavily filled or damaged teeth. No one will be able to tell the difference.

Veneers

Chipped, cracked or worn teeth could be improved with the use of veneers.
They help close gaps and straighten teeth without the need for braces.

Root Canals

A root canal is a treatment used to repair and save a tooth that is badly decayed or becomes infected.
Root canal therapy involves removal of the nerve and pulp from the inside of th tooth. The tooth is then cleaned and sealed. Without this treatment the tissue surrounding the tooth may become infected and abscesses may form.
